After introductions, it is common to start the course with a short classroom session to see what you remember about topics such as the left and right turn procedure that you learnt on CBT.
You may need to be introduced to the bike and its controls if you are unfamiliar.
You may also benefit from a little time on our training area if it has been a while since you were on a bike, otherwise we can start the road lesson. We tend to stay local for the first few hours, venturing further afield as you progress.
All of our training is tailored to cater for your individual requirements, so this is just a guide.
As you progress your instructor will introduce you to both the on road and off road manoeuvres that your examiner will be testing you on.

If you wish to take the Direct Access Scheme, both we and the DSA prefer to conduct a little training on our training site before we start the 'on road training'.
We only ask 2 simple things:
-
There are certain things that you really need to know about the rules of the road. Without that knowledge, you find passing your test difficult. We will gladly teach you everything in the Highway Code. However, that takes up valuable riding time. So get yourself an up to date Highway Code for £2.50 and read it before you start your training.
-
The other thing is, don't sell yourself short on time to practice. Not everyone can get things right first time every time.
In order to apply for the module 1 and 2 practical tests, you must first pass the theory and hazard perception test for motorcycles and mopeds.
